Tesseract

A tesseract is a four-dimensional cube that is represented in a three-dimensional space. In popular culture, it is often portrayed as a device or structure for travel or transportation through higher dimensions. It was first described in the novel "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions" by Edwin A. Abbott and later became a popular term in science fiction, most notably in the movie Interstellar by Christopher Nolan.
